We don’t manufacture this plastic bottle and truck it to a destination:
Our Mission
In this way we provide the same premium bottled water experience consumers love, but with a greatly reduced carbon footprint. By avoiding plastic we don’t need to drill for oil, and we don’t contribute to plastic pollution in our oceans.

We don’t manufacture this plastic bottle and truck it to a destination:

We ship only bottled water concentrate and deliver the water directly from locally sourced tap.
Bottled water reimagined

We carefully select only the purest organic chemicals and polymer extracts to produce our secret bottled water concentrate formula. Inside the soda fountain, locally sourced tap-water is infused with the concentrate using a precision guide. After 2 years of development we have achieved an end product that is a truly pure bottled water experience.

A born entrepreneur, Elvin started selling lemonade at the age of 7. A recent trip to the maldives focused him on plastic waste issues and his vision ensures H2O star stays true to its core values.

An incessant tinkerer, George is all about solving problems. He has worked on desalination plants but is excited to be working towards better use of the earth’s accessible freshwater supplies. George has a background in chemical engineering.

Leaving her past behind as an operations specialist for a sugary beverage company, she manages all H2O Star operations, from our concentrate kitchens all the way to final distribution. Jane is excited to be giving consumers something pure they can drink which won’t give them diabetes.
H2O Star,
When George noticed a hybrid Poland Spring truck blocking a bike lane in Boston, he thought there must be a better way to deliver premium water to environmentally conscious consumers. He immediately started developing the bottled water concentrate and has worked for two years perfecting the formula. Elvin has a business and marketing background and after a trip to the maldives was looking for business opportunities that could help reduce plastic waste. They joined forces in 2014 to form H2Ostar* which raised a 100K angel round last August to bring their enterprise level product to market. Dominique joined to lend her extensive domain expertise and set up scalable operations.
H2Ostar is getting ready to run the first pilot at an eatery in Boston MA and has plans to expand to New York City.
